The MLX vertical roller mill reducer is expressly engineered to grind raw meal and clinker for the cement industry, and it just as effectively grinds sintered ore in metallurgy or blast-furnace slag in mining. As a purpose-built mining reducer, every MLX planetary vertical roller mill reducer unites the following advantages:

• Vertical roller mill reducer core: a two-stage planetary/planetary bevel arrangement that lets the motor grind heavy feedstock with minimum losses.
• Forged planetary gears carburized, quenched, ground, and shot-peened; 100 % flaw-checked to survive the shocks that grind cement clinker or grind minerals day after day.
• Output flange accepts the grinding table of any vertical roller mill reducer, bearing the full roller pressure, while the same planetary train delivers torque to grind with up to 6 kN·m / kW efficiency.
• Drum-tooth coupling between the output shaft and flange buffers load surges when you grind cement additives, grind coal in power plants, or grind ores in a mining reducer.
• Non-contact mechanical seal and dynamic+static lubrication let a single vertical roller mill reducer grind ≥ 80,000 h without leakage.
• The compact planetary ultrasonic-inspected weld-shrink cement-plant footprints, and keeps the mining reducer lighter for easier installation.

Specification

1. Suitable for building materials, electric power, metallurgy and other industries.
2. Simple structure: adopts bevel gear and planetary gear transmission, the output flange is directly connected to the grinding plate to transmit torque, and simultaneously withstands vertical pressure from the grinding rollers.
3. All gears are forged from high-quality alloy steel, subjected to carburizing, quenching and grinding, and the gears undergo profile modification and root shot peening.
4. All gears and shafts are subjected to flaw detection inspection after forging and fine machining. The housing and planetary carrier are welded using advanced equipment, and the main welds undergo ultrasonic flaw detection to ensure the high strength and rigidity of the housing and planetary carrier.
5. The output flange and output shaft adopt crowned gear flexible coupling, further reducing the impact on the gear pair caused by load changes.
6. Adopts non-contact mechanical seal, no oil leakage, no need for replacement.
7. Adopts dynamic and static pressure lubrication systems, ensuring high reliability of operation.
8. The service life of all rolling bearings is greater than 80,000 hours.
9. This series of reducers features small volume, light weight, high efficiency, low noise, stable operation, long life, safety and reliability, and ease of installation and maintenance.
